“Dear Survivor, to love yourself is to become free” words by @taniikeda, mural by @jessxsnow and myself - this is @survivor.love.letter’s first large scale mural and it is based on the project’s origin story of Tani writting a love letter to her younger self on the anniversary of her assault, thus using a letter as alchemy for healing in the same way this mural celebrates an existence for survivors beyond pain and within creativity.
