a mural painted for Fiesta de Colores, an earthquake relief project working in the Ecuadorian coast that aims to revitalize the tourist economy in the area after the 2016 earthquake.
This piece is a contemporary take on the Manabí province flag and shield. It shows the hills of the area as well as a torch, symbols which come from the shield of the province. It also portrays the profile of Yaren, a local skater kid from Briseño, and points at the future of the community represented by their youngest generation.
